Biography
Born and raised in New York City. I have remained with close ties to NYC, my wife and maintain a residence there. I currently reside in Raleigh North Carolina. I currently am the Medical Director of Oncology Medical Affairs at Quest Diagnostics.Currently responsible for advising and growing Advanced Diagnostics Oncology at Quest. I am involved in the integration of Quest as the preferred lab for the US Oncology and Texas Oncology Network. I am currently involved in the care pathway development of laboratory pathways for the US Oncology network. In so doing we are helping to reduce unnecessary testing and promote recommened testing to comply with national guidelines. I am continuing to work with the Medfusion laboritory to continue its work with US Oncology to develop focused precision medicine panels which are medically necessary and financially responsible. This work has allowed me to develop a pilot project with Aetna for coverage of NGS in sold tumor for select patients. I have continued development of Quantum analytics to help Health Systems and Pharma partners to have a query database looking for quality matrix gaps in care and mutational profiles.
Continued work with Companion Diagnostics to build relationships for pharma partners to identify rare mutations in large patient populations for targeted clinical trial recruitment through the use of Quantum analytics. In working with pharma to develop new clinical pathways for the identification of rare mutations through sponsored testing.
