Biography

Dr. Damani has extensive experience as both a clinician and successful technology business leader. Prior to MintHealth, Damani was the founding CEO of MD Revolution (MDR) which has become the gold standard technology for enabled service platforms for chronic care management. Under his leadership, the company raised over $43 million and now serves thousands of patients and providers across the U.S. MDR integrates patient generated data, electronic health records, and physician workflow for the purpose of optimizing population health management. In addition to serving as a Board member at MD Revolution, Dr. Damani serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Family & Preventive Medicine for the UC San Diego Medical School, and is a board-certified practicing cardiologist at Scripps Clinic. Dr. Damani has a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Georgia and a Masters in Clinical Investigation from the Scripps Research Institute.

At Hashed Health, John’s team partners with public and private sector clients to develop distributed and decentralized solutions that solve health delivery challenges. John is an internationally recognized speaker on blockchain and decentralized healthcare technology. Prior to Hashed Health, John was CEO at InVivoLink, a surgical patient registry and care management start-up which sold to HCA in 2015. John’s experience also includes healthcare B2B startup empactHealth.com which was acquired by Medibuy / Global Healthcare Exchange. John is a native of Nashville and has a Chemistry degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
