Biography

Dr. Nerenberg is currently the CMO and Sr VP of Molecular Stethoscope, where he is responsible for research, and medical applications of the technology. Previously, HE served as CTO AT Genoptix Inc. where he developed their lead product and served as the company’s initial medical director. Prior to this, he served as President and Chief Technology Officer of Molecular Reflections, Inc., a biotechnology design and discovery company and Senior Director of Molecular Biology for Nanogen, Inc., . Author of over 50 articles and 12 patents, he received his B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Chicago and his M.D. from the Yale University School of Medicine, completed his residency in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and completed a fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, after which he served as a faculty member in the department of Molecular and Experimental Medicine at the Scripps Institute.

This minimally-invasive technology allows direct measurement of host organs and tissues, and organ-specific transcriptional changes in blood after a single dose of drug.
