Biography
Dr Friedland is professor of medicine at Stanford University and chief of Gastroenterology at VA Palo Alto. His clinical focus is on detection and endoscopic resection of early cancers in the esophagus, stomach and colon. His research interests include early detection of precancerous lesions and early gastrointestinal cancers, development of new technologies for detection and treatment of these conditions.
