Biography
As Director Business Development, new technologies at Tecan, her role is to evaluate life science application related technologies with respect to their commercial potential, develop business case and commercialization strategy of potential product concepts, conduct market research and maintain an understanding of customers, market trends and competition. Her >15 years of experience in the life science and diagnostic industry has included leadership roles ranging from innovation and concept development through product development from an R&D perspective and business plans, commercial launch and alliance management from a business perspective. Though most of her career was with Fortune 500 companies, she has worked with several start-ups including in the areas of mobile health and personalized medicine. She was a post-doctoral fellow at Stanford University, School of Medicine & at UCSF’s Dept. of Pharmaceutical Chemistry; after her PhD in Biophysics.
