We are excited to launch the first Precision Medicine World Conference (PMWC) at the
University of Michigan June 6-7, 2018.
The University of Michigan’s Michigan is among the leaders in precision medicine and one of the top NIH grant recipients. Its current areas of expertise not only include precision oncology, drug development and targeted therapies, as well as new approaches to big data, but the university has also developed its own strategy on how to advance precision medicine across its campuses.
We are witnessing dramatic technological innovations and advancements resulting in a rise in new initiatives that help propel the translation of precision medicine into improvements in health care: a rise in new applications of next-generation sequencing, with genetics having an ever increasing impact in the clinical setting, leaving its mark in oncology and other therapeutic areas, AI as the technology pushing precision medicine to the next level.
These technological and medical advances are reflected in the content-rich two day agenda of the 14th PMWC held in Ann Arbor Michigan. The program is a cross-section through the world of precision medicine with its goal of increasing tailored approaches to the treatment of diseases.
Agenda highlights include:
- A lineup of 100+ highly regarded speakers featuring pioneering researchers and authorities across the healthcare and biotechnology sectors such as Francis Collins, Eric Topol, Lee Hood, Jeff Leiden, Steve Nelson, Isaac Kohane and more
- Luminary and Pioneer Awards, honoring individuals who contributed, and continue to contribute, to the field of Precision Medicine
