Biography
As the co-founder and CEO of PlumCare, a consumer predictive genomics service for the entire family, Dr. Tsipouras is making a difference in how families approach health driven decision making across generations. He is a serial entrepreneur and clinical geneticist whose career has straddled business and academia. Dr. Tsipouras is a seasoned visionary with successful exits translating scientific concepts to a technology platform.He previously founded Ikonisys, a cell-based diagnostic company that developed stratified risk tests for HPV and certain types of cancers. Dr. Tsipouras holds his medical doctorate from the University of Athens and completed his residencies and subsequent training at Yale University, McGill University, and UMDNJ-Rutgers Medical School. He is also an adjunct professor of Genetics at Yale University.
