PETER PAUL YU

M.D., FACP, FASCO, DIRECTOR OF CANCER RESEARCH AT PALO ALTO MEDICAL FOUNDATION

Dr. Peter Yu is a medical oncologist and expert in the area of digital health, especially oncology data representation and architecture. He is Immediate-Past President of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) where he lead that organization’s expanding work in global health. He serves on the Board of ASCO as well as CancerLinq, ASCO’s product to increase cancer data liquidity now being co-developed with SAP. Dr. Yu is a member of the College of American Pathologists Cancer Biomarker Reporting Committee, the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health Phenotypic Ontology Task Team co-lead, the Epic Oncology Steering Board and the California Cancer Registry External Advisory Committee. Currently he is medical practice at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation where he is the Director for Cancer Research.
