Biography
Lori Aro has twenty years of marketing and sales experience in Pharma and Molecular Diagnostics. Lori is leading the Clinical Genomics efforts at Pacific Biosciences (PacBio), where she is responsible for developing a clinical strategy for the industry leading long-read sequencing technology. Prior to PacBio, Lori lead the new product development and portfolio management efforts at Myriad Genetics, Inc. Lori has extensive experience in commercializing Laboratory Developed Tests (LDTs) and Companion Diagnostics (CDx), having launched successful tests in a variety of therapeutic areas including Oncology, Auto-Immune and Women’s Health. She began her career at Johnson & Johnson Health Services, implementing a science based programs to enable positive, sustainable health outcomes. Lori holds both a Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah.
