Biography

Dr. Fred Ashbury is a Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Viviphi. He is responsible for curating and codifying scientific knowledge relating to standard of care and precision medicine to support Viviphi’s cognitive computing platform. Viviphi’s platform has been designed to facilitate point-of-care decision making and generate comprehensive, dynamic, patient-specific treatment plans. Fred holds academic appointments in Oncology and Public Health at the University of Calgary and University of Toronto, respectively. He is Editor-in-Chief of the international, peer-reviewed journal, Supportive Care in Cancer. He is a member of several boards, including the Medical Advisory Board of SURVIVEiT® and the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer. Fred is a grant reviewer for Ontario Genomics and other public funding agencies, has published more than 80 peer-reviewed papers and major reports, and peer reviews for leading oncology and public health journals.
