Clinical Dx Showcase: Clinical and Research applications of a Brain Tumor Tissue Bank in the age of Precision Medicine
The Hermelin Brain Tumor Bank is one of the most comprehensive brain tumor tissue repositories, hosting over 4000 clinically annotated brain tumor tissues. Tissue was extensively utilized to complete the NIH sponsored “The Cancer Genome Atlas Research Network (TCGA)” mapping of high and low grade gliomas. New projects are investigating the genetic drivers of immune response and quality of life in brain tumor patients.
