Biography

Dr. Haga is an Associate Professor at Duke University School of Medicine, Department of Medicine and the Center for Applied Genomics & Precision Medicine. She also has a secondary appointment in the Sanford School of Public Policy and the Department of Biology at Duke University and is a member of the Duke Center for Genomic and Computational Biology (GCB). She oversees the education programs for the CAGPM and GCB and regularly teaches undergraduate courses in genomics, bioethics, and public policy. Her research interests focus on issues affecting the translation of genomics to clinical practice, particularly in the field of pharmacogenetic testing, and patient and provider education.
